The DStv Diski Challenge is boiling over after Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns delivered emphatic wins to stay level at the top.
Pirates crushed Siwelele FC 5-0, with goals from Mpho Padime, Seth Green, Samukele Zikalala, Lebo Mohlala, plus an own goal, taking them to 51 points in 22 matches.
Sundowns matched the firepower, thrashing Orbit College 6-1. Bennet Mokoena starred with a hat-trick, lifting his tally to 19 goals, while Siyabonga Mabena, Kutlwano Letlhaku, and Gomolemo Kekana added the rest. Downs also sit on 51 points but have played one more game.
Elsewhere, Kaizer Chiefs’ title defense faltered again in a 1-1 draw with Golden Arrows, while Stellenbosch and TS Galaxy shared a thrilling 4-4 draw.
With Pirates and Sundowns trading blows, the race promises a dramatic finish.
