Real Madrid beat Atletico 3-2 at the Bernabéu, with Vinícius Júnior scoring twice to keep the La Liga title race alive.
Ademola Lookman gave Atletico a first-half lead, but Vinícius equalized from the spot before Federico Valverde struck to put Real ahead.
Nahuel Molina’s spectacular long-range effort made it 2-2, only for Vinícius to curl in the decisive goal from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s assist.
Valverde was later sent off, forcing Real to cling on as Julian Alvarez hit the post in stoppage time.
The win cuts Barcelona’s lead at the top to four points after their earlier victory over Rayo Vallecano.
