Liverpool have announced that Mohamed Salah will depart at the end of the 2025-26 season, closing a nine-year chapter at Anfield.
Signed from AS Roma in 2017, Salah has scored 255 goals in 435 appearances, ranking third on the club’s all-time list.
He has been central to Liverpool’s modern success, winning two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, two League Cups, and the Community Shield.
Salah said he wanted to inform fans early out of respect and gratitude, while stressing his focus remains on finishing the season strongly before a full farewell later this year.
