FIFA has launched the last ticket sales phase for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
More than three million tickets are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis via FIFA.com/tickets, with sales running until the tournament ends on July 19.
Nearly seven million tickets are on offer across 16 stadiums, and over three million have already been sold in earlier phases. FIFA is expected to surpass the record 3.5 million tickets sold in 1994.
The process has drawn criticism from fan groups over high prices and “opaque” procedures. FIFA defends its pricing, citing huge demand, while its resale platform—reopening Thursday—faces scrutiny for inflated costs.
The expanded tournament will feature 48 teams and 104 matches, 78 of them in the U.S.
