Mustafa Kizza is steadily rediscovering form, delivering key moments for Nairobi United FC in the Kenya Premier League.
The left-back has now scored in back-to-back matches, underlining his attacking threat despite limited minutes.
Over the weekend, Kizza found the net in a 3-0 win over Shabana FC, scoring from deep on the left flank with a long-range effort that caught the goalkeeper off guard.
He followed that up with another important contribution on Wednesday, converting a well-taken free-kick in a 2-2 draw against Kakamega Homeboyz FC.

His goal came with around 20 minutes remaining and helped Nairobi United recover a point after trailing.
Speaking after the match, Kizza expressed belief in his ability while acknowledging the support from the technical bench.
“I think personally, I have the quality and the coaches are helping me to come in and support the team,” he said.
Primarily used off the bench this season, Kizza’s recent performances present a selection dilemma for head coach Godfrey Odour.
His growing influence, particularly from set-pieces, strengthens his case for a starting role.

The defender, known for his delivery and dead-ball ability, emphasized team performance over individual recognition.
“As long as the team is doing well, that’s what matters. Whenever I come in, I try to help, it’s a team effort,” he noted, while also admitting he is working to earn a place in the starting XI.
The draw against Kakamega was a credible result for Nairobi United, considering their opponents’ strong campaign.
Kakamega sit third on the table with 46 points from 27 matches, while Nairobi United are seventh with 36 points.
“To be honest, it was a great team effort. Kakamega are on a good run, and we’ve had a busy schedule.”
“The boys showed fight, even with some fatigue, and we’re grateful for the point,” Kizza added.
After a challenging spell in his career, the Ugandan international appears to be rebuilding momentum.
If he maintains consistency, Kizza could push for a bigger role at club level and potentially re-enter contention for national team selection, with opportunities still open both domestically and beyond.
