The circuit, where Lewis Hamilton sealed his seventh world title in 2020, last featured during the pandemic‑era seasons of 2020‑21.

F1 president Stefano Domenicali called Istanbul “one of the most exciting and challenging circuits,” while President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hailed the race’s return as proof of Turkey’s strong infrastructure and passionate fanbase.
The calendar will remain capped at 24 races, with Turkey’s slot managed through expiring contracts or rotational hosting.
