CAF will debut a new festival-style format at the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco (13 May–2 June), centralising matches, training and team operations at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Hosts Morocco headline Group A with Tunisia, Egypt and Ethiopia, while Côte d’Ivoire and Cameroon lead Group B alongside Uganda and debutants DR Congo.
Mali face Angola, Mozambique and Tanzania in Group C, with Senegal, South Africa, Algeria and Ghana completing Group D.
The eight quarter-finalists qualify directly for the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026, with play-offs deciding the final two spots to complete Africa’s 10 representatives.
