Neymar Apologises After Training Ground Slap

Neymar has admitted he “lost his head” after slapping Santos teenager Robinho Jr in training, but says the matter is now resolved.

The 34-year-old forward apologised publicly and embraced the 18-year-old during Santos’ 1-1 Copa Sudamericana draw with Recoleta.

Robinho Jr, son of Neymar’s former Brazil team-mate, said the striker “realised straight away he’d gone too far” and apologised several times.

Both players insist the incident is “all sorted.”
