Chelsea have begun talks with candidates to replace Liam Rosenior, aiming to appoint a new head coach before pre-season in July.
Andoni Iraola, Xabi Alonso, Marco Silva and Oliver Glasner headline the shortlist, with all set to be free of contracts this summer.
Iraola is also Crystal Palace’s top target, while Glasner will leave Palace at season’s end. Silva has a new Fulham deal on the table but is weighing options abroad, including Saudi Arabia.
Ex-Chelsea players Filipe Luis and Cesc Fabregas are admired too, as the club looks to stabilise after another managerial change.
Chelsea’s urgency reflects a need for clarity before the 2026–27 campaign.
