Arsenal defender Ben White has suffered a medial ligament injury that ends his season and his World Cup hopes.
The 28‑year‑old limped off in the 1‑0 win at West Ham and will miss Arsenal’s final two league games and the Champions League final against PSG.

White had just returned to England duty after three years, scoring against Uruguay in March, but Thomas Tuchel’s squad announcement on 22 May will come too soon.
Arteta must now turn to Cristhian Mosquera or reshuffle Declan Rice at right‑back, with Jurrien Timber also sidelined.
