Romelu Lukaku has been called up for Belgium’s World Cup squad, though coach Rudi Garcia admits the striker is “out of shape.”
The 33-year-old Napoli forward has played just 69 minutes this season and last featured on 6 March. Still, with 89 goals in 124 caps, he remains Belgium’s record scorer.

Garcia hopes five weeks of training will restore Lukaku’s fitness before Belgium face Egypt, Iran and New Zealand in Group G.
Young Lille striker Matias Fernandez-Pardo earns a first call-up, while Zeno Debast is included despite injury.
