With over thirty entries confirmed, the competition promises to be fierce. National champions such as Jonas Kansiime, Jas Mangat, and Ronald Sebuguzi are among the contenders vying for supremacy. Adding to the excitement are defending African rally champion Karan Patel and Junior African rally champion Hamza Anwar from Kenya, ensuring a thrilling showdown on the rugged terrain of Uganda.

The rally’s format spans three days, beginning with a free practice and qualifying stage on day one. Days two and three will feature seven and three final stages, respectively, covering a total competitive distance of 209.45 kilometers.

Leading the organizational charge is newly appointed Event Manager, Jimmy Akena, who is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and safe event for participants and spectators alike. The rally boasts esteemed partners such as the National Council of Sports, KCB Bank Uganda, and Uganda Railways, whose support is instrumental in its success.

Spectators can anticipate an adrenaline-fueled experience as specially designed stages and prime vantage points along the route promise unparalleled views of speed, skill, and determination in action. As the countdown begins, all eyes are on the 2024 Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally, poised to captivate audiences and write another chapter in the annals of motorsport history.
