In response to the upcoming national population and housing census public holiday announced by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, the Uganda Premier League (UPL) has made necessary adjustments to its fixture schedule.
The UPL Secretariat has confirmed that the match between URA FC and KCCA FC, originally slated for May 10th 2024 will now kick off on May 11th 2024. However, since URA FC shares a venue, the kabaka kyabaggu Stadium with Wakiso Giants FC who also have a fixture on the same day, the URA FC Vs KCCA FC clash will be relocated to Muteesa II Stadium-Wankulukuku.
Additionally, the rescheduling extends to other matches affected by the holiday. SUPL match 192, featuring Express FC against NEC FC, previously postponed, has been rescheduled for May 13th, 2024. Moreover, match 217 between Gaddafi FC and Express FC has been brought forward by a day and will now take place on May 15th, 2024.
The UPL Secretariat has ensured that all stakeholders are informed about these adjustments.
