FUFA Women’s Super League Title to Be Decided on Final Day

Just like in the Startimes Uganda Premier League, the winner of the FUFA Women’s Super League 2023/24 season will be determined on the final day of play. Kawempe Muslim Ladies and Kampala Queens, the two top contenders, are set to face each other in a decisive match.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies currently lead the standings with 37 points, just one point ahead of defending champions Kampala Queens, who have 36 points. The upcoming match between the two teams is crucial, as a victory for either side will secure the league title.

In the penultimate round of the season, Kampala Queens secured a commanding 3-0 victory over She Maroons, keeping their title hopes alive. Meanwhile, Kawempe Muslim Ladies maintained their lead at the top of the table with a 2-0 win against Asubo Ladies FC.

The stakes are high for both teams as they head into the final match. In their first leg encounter this season, Kawempe Muslim Ladies emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Kampala Queens.

While the title race remains intense, the penultimate round also brought clarity to the relegation battle. UCU Lady Cardinals and Asubo Ladies FC have been relegated to the Elite League for the next season.
