Isaac Zebra Ssenyange Jr has expressed his excitement as he prepares to face Abas Sseguya in a ten-round national title fight at the fully updated Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo on June 1, 2024.
Ssenyange, who is determined to maintain his 100% winning record, is also eyeing future challenges for an African title.
The event will also feature a highly anticipated rematch between Golola Moses and Umar Semata, alongside other thrilling matches.
“I am hyped to be fighting at the new Hamz Stadium and look forward to showcasing my skills. Maintaining my winning streak is crucial as I aim for bigger challenges, including an African title,” Ssenyange stated.
The Hamz Stadium, which was closed in 2016, has undergone extensive renovations under a public-private partnership.
It now boasts modern facilities, including a 35,000-seat capacity pavilion, basketball and netball courts, a modern gym, boxing rings, and a football artificial pitch.
Tickets for the event are available via Next Ticket, with prices ranging from UGX 50,000 to UGX 150,000.
