The 2022/23 English Premier League will be broadcast on Uganda’s only 24-hour TV Sports Channel.
Tottenham Hotspurs at home to Southampton on Saturday, August 08 at 5 pm, will be the first match of the season aired on NBS Sport.
However, the Premier League gets underway this Friday with Crystal Palace hosting Arsenal at the Selhurst Park.
The Gunners who finished 5th last season are hoping to start well as they push for a spot in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League.
Mikel Arteta’s side also has the option of winning the Europa League and qualifying for Europe’s Premier Club competition but will feel the Premier League path is the best bet to achieve their target.
EPL Ku NBS Sports is hosted by Ronald Mugabi and will have a panel of analysts including Shaban Lubega, Marion Malinga and Frank Lulinda.
Super FM and Lunchtime Sports co-host Stuart Kimera will lead the commentary team as Ugandans enjoy the football frenzy.
