Munguchi signed a three-year contract with the club until the end of the 2026-27 season.

The 28-year-old expressed his delight at the move, stating, “I am happy to sign for KCCA FC. It is such a great feeling to be part of this club with a very rich history. I know the demands for playing for a club like KCCA, and I am ready to live up to that.”

Munguchi has also previously featured for URA and Soltilo Bright Stars.

The Kasasiro Boys also secured the signature of Shafik Nana Kwikiriza from BUL on a five-year contract, set to end in the 2028-29 season.

Kwikiriza, who can operate as a winger or in central attacking roles, is eager to be a key figure in KCCA’s plans, saying, “I am delighted to join KCCA FC. It is a dream come true to join a club of this caliber.”

“I have had conversations with the club manager, and he shared with me his grand plan and philosophy, and I believe I can be a key figure to his plans.” The 20-year-old senior six student at Jinja Progressive SS added.

The two new signings come after KCCA also secured the long-term future of goalkeeper Mutwalibi Mugolofa on June 6th.

Mugolofa, who joined the 13-time at the start of the year, and kept two clean sheets in his four appearances, signed a contract extension until the end of the 2026-27 season.

The 23-year-old custodian expressed his delight at committing his future to KCCA, stating, “I am happy to commit my future to KCCA FC. I have felt at home during my first six months at the club and I did not think twice about my contract renewal. I want to compete and become an important member of this club.”
