On Thursday 27th June, Uganda’s representatives at the ISF Basketball Championships attended an educational session at the ISF Academy focused on anti-doping awareness.
This initiative aimed to educate players about the significance of clean sport and the risks associated with performance-enhancing drugs.
The ISF Academy’s educational program is designed to equip athletes with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed decisions about their health, well-being, and careers.
This initiative empowers athletes to uphold the principles of fair competition and personal integrity in their respective sports.
Uganda is represented by two teams: the boys’ team from Elite High School and a girls’ select team from different schools, the FIBA Afro-basketball Zone 5 U18 Champions.
