Rugby Cranes star, Philip Wokorach has signed a 2-year contract with Rugby Club Orléans, which currently plays in Fédérale 1.
Philip began his rugby journey at Kyadondo, playing for 16 years before making his mark in Kenya and England. Before arriving in France, he joined Bourges and then Bedarrides in Nationale 2.
Philip has participated in the Super Seven with Monaco and Racing 92. Donning the Ugandan jersey for both the 7s and 15s national teams, he has proven his prowess on the field.
Strong with a remarkable foot, Philip scored an impressive 434 points in just two seasons!
Following his recent success leading the Uganda 7s team to victory in the first round of the Mauritius 7s on Sunday, June 30th, Wokorach has already arrived in France to begin his pre-season training with his new club.
Philip expressed his enthusiasm about joining Rugby Club Orléans: “I chose the RCO for the ambition of the club, the interesting project, and the excellent season they just had.”
