The Uganda Cranes find themselves in a continuous drop zone of the FIFA World Rankings.
Uganda dropped from the 92nd position to 94th in rankings released on June 20, 2024 but that list has since been updated.
The rankings were revised on Thursday, July 18 following the completion of the European Championships and Copa America on Sunday.
Paul Joseph Put’s side is now placed 95th in the World, 21st in Africa, and first in the CECAFA region.
Morocco remains the best footballing country in Africa a position they have held since they reached the semifinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Meanwhile, the 2022 World Cup winners Argentina also did not move an inch, retaining the number one spot after winning the 2024 Copa America in the United States.
European champions Spain improved from the eighth place to the third while the losing finalists England also rose from fifth to fourth.
