URA, on July 27, announced the departure of midfielder Hassan Kalega via their official social media channels.
Kalega initially joined the Tax Collectors on July 11, 2019, from Vipers, signing a three-year contract set to last until 2022.
On September 26, 2022, he extended his stay with a two-year contract that would keep him at the club until 2024.
During his tenure with URA, Kalega made 48 appearances, scored one goal, and provided one assist.
The club expressed gratitude for his dedication and contributions and wished him success in his future endeavours.
Kalega’s departure is part of a series of exits from the club, which also includes long-serving midfielder Saidi Kyeyune, defender Najib Fesali, Viane Ssekajugo, Eric Ssenjobe, Ibrahim Dada, and goalkeeper Samuel Mwaka.
Despite these departures, URA have strengthened their squad with new arrivals, including goalkeepers Derrick Ochan and Abdul Magada, midfielder Ibrahim Kazindula, Amuli Mukasa, and defender Bright Vuni.
