A win for Nigeria meant that they qualified for the World Cup alongside Senegal, who eliminated Benin while waiting for other AFCON quarterfinal fixtures to be decided in order to know their semifinal opponents.
Senegal defeated Benin 1-0 in the earlier quarterfinal in Cairo to set up the semifinal meeting between the West African nations.
South Sudan will play the Gambia today, while Tunisia will play the Congo Republic. The two teams who triumph today will also be guaranteed a spot in the FIFA U-20 World Cup. I’m
