The CAF C Women’s Coaching Course has entered into its third week after a two-week internship break. During the course, participants will engage in a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application at the FUFA Technical Centre, Nieru.
Funded collaboratively by CAF, FUFA, and the Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU), the month-long program underscores a concerted effort to enhance the coaching capacity within women’s football.
Crucially, aspiring coaches are required to successfully complete the C License Coaching Course before advancing to the subsequent levels of B and A License Coaching Courses.
FUFA say that at the end of the course, participants are expected to deepen their understanding of coaching methodologies, tactical nuances, and the intricacies of player development specific to women’s football.
The practical sessions, complemented by theoretical modules, aim to equip coaches with a holistic skill set, preparing them to navigate the dynamic landscape of modern football effectively.
