In a tightly contested game, the KIU Titans emerged victorious against the Namuwongo Blazers with a final score of 74-71. Coming into the game, both the Titans and the Namblazers hadn’t lost a game in the second round.
The Titans led marginally in most quarters, with period scores of 18-15, 19-26, 18-11, and 19-19, respectively. The final moments of the game were intense, with the Titans maintaining a slim lead.
At 00:05 in the fourth period, Innocent Ochera’s 2-point jump shot missed, which could have turned the game around for the Nambazers. Moments later, Makiadi Micheal also missed a crucial layup, allowing the Titans to secure the rebound and ultimately the win.
