The Premier League fixtures for the 2024/25 campaign have been released on Tuesday, June 18th, with the new season set to kick off on the weekend of August 16th-18th.
The action will get underway on Friday, August 16th, with FA Cup Champions Manchester United hosting Fulham at 10 pm.
Saturday, August 17th, will see a full slate of fixtures, starting with Ipswich Town’s return to the top flight as they welcome Liverpool to Portman Road at 2:30 pm.
Other standout matches on the opening weekend include Arsenal hosting Wolverhampton Wanderers at 5 pm, Everton taking on Brighton & Hove Albion at the same time, and West Ham United welcoming Aston Villa to the London Stadium at 7:30 pm.
The opening weekend of fixtures will also see defending champions Manchester City begin their title defence with a trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Sunday, August 18th at 6:30 pm. This will be Enzo Maresca’s first game in charge of the west London club.
The highly anticipated first clash between last season’s top two, Manchester City and Arsenal, is scheduled for September 21st at the Etihad Stadium, while the reverse fixture at the Emirates is set for February 1st, 2025.
Manchester United will face their bitter rivals Manchester City on December 16th at the Etihad and April 7th at Old Trafford, while their clash with Liverpool is set for January 6th at Anfield after hosting the Reds on August 31st.
Promoted sides Ipswich Town, Leicester City, and Southampton will all be looking to make a strong start to life in the Premier League, with Ipswich, led by Kieran McKenna facing a daunting trip to the Etihad on August 26th.
