Six-time Ugandan Premier League champions Vipers Sports Club have unveiled the signing of versatile Angolan winger Pedro Honjo Chimbiambiulo, commonly known as Sukuya.
The 27-year-old, who can also operate as an offensive midfielder, has penned a two-year contract with the Venoms, which will run until the end of the 2025-26 season.
Sukuya’s arrival marks the club’s second signing of the current transfer window, following yesterday’s announcement of left-back Derrick Ndahiro from Rwanda’s Police FC.
These new additions come after Vipers’ recent appointment of Serbian head coach Nikola Kavazovic, as the club looks to assemble a formidable squad capable of challenging for domestic and continental honours.
Sukuya, who joins Vipers SC after an impressive stint with Angolan top-flight side Wiliete Sport Clube de Benguela SAD, will be vying for a place in the squad, alongside other attacking talents like Yunus Sentamu, Milton Karisa, and Allan Okello.
The Angolan winger, who can operate on both the left and right flanks, has also featured for Talentos De Benguele and ANZ Desporto Angolano in his native country.
Sukuya arrives at the Kitende-based club ahead of players reporting to their pre-season camp today, June 21st, as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
