Fort Portal Isaza Team Dominates Mwenge South in Tooro MTN Amasaza Tournament Semi-Final

In a thrilling semi-final showdown at St. Leo’s College Kabura playground, Fort Portal Isaza team emerged victorious with a commanding 2-0 win over Mwenge South Isaza team. The match, which captivated local football fans, saw Nyakahuma Kenneth break the deadlock in the first half, giving Fort Portal a 1-0 lead at the break. Kato George sealed the deal with a second-half strike, ensuring a comfortable victory and putting Fort Portal in a strong position ahead of the second leg of the home-and-away fixture.

The tournament is not only about football but also about making a positive impact in our community,” Wandera said.

 

Aggrey Byaruhanga, the MTN representative, emphasized the broader goals of the tournament. “Away from promoting football in the Kingdom, popularizing the need to end HIV/AIDS is paramount in this activity. We commend the collective efforts with the Tooro Kingdom in the ongoing 3rd edition of the Tooro MTN Amasaza Cup 2024,” Byaruhanga noted.

 

As the tournament progresses, the spotlight remains on the teams and the electrifying matches that lie ahead. Fans and supporters continue to rally behind their favorite teams, eager to witness who will emerge victorious and move one step closer to the championship.
