Former Vipers SC striker Cesar Manzoki Lobi has signed with Indian Super League side Mohammedan SC.
The 27-year-old forward, who was born in DRC and represents Central African Republic on the international stage, joins the historic club after a stint with UAE Pro League side Hatta Club.
Manzoki’s impressive journey includes a notable tenure at Chinese Super League outfit Dalian Pro FC, where he netted 10 goals and provided two assists in 35 appearances.
His earlier career saw him feature for various clubs, including AS Dauphin Niors, Union Maniena, and AS Vita Club, before rising to prominence at Vipers.
During his time with the Venoms, Manzoki was a standout performer, leading the team to victory in the 2021/22 Uganda Premier League and clinching the 2021 Uganda Cup.
He was also crowned the league’s top scorer after scoring 18 goals in the season.
Manzoki now joins Mohammedan SC, one of the oldest and most storied football clubs in India, which was established in February 1891.
The club has a rich history and a passionate fan base, and competes in the Indian Super League (ISL) and the Calcutta Football League (CFL), the latter being the oldest football league in Asia.
Mohammedan won their first I-League title last season, earning promotion to the ISL, where they aim to make a significant impact with Manzoki leading their attack.
