CAF CC: Mukwala’s Simba to Face Bravo dos Maquis in Opener

Simba find themselves in a challenging group, where they will face CS Sfaxien (Tunisia), Constantine (Algeria), and Bravo dos Maquis (Angola).

Their first encounter with Bravo dos Maquis will set the tone for their group stage campaign.

With strong teams like CS Sfaxien and Constantine in the mix, Simba will need to capitalize on their home advantage to secure crucial points early in the competition.

Simba secured their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages after overcoming Al Ahly Tripoli from Libya in the second round of the preliminaries.

This victory further cemented their dominance in East African football, but the club has yet to translate this regional success into consistent triumphs on the continental stage.

Despite their domestic dominance and continued presence in African competitions, Simba SC’s continental success has remained elusive.

Alongside compatriots Young Africans (Yanga), they have long been a force to reckon with in East Africa, but unlocking the secret to success on the larger African stage remains a key focus for the club.
