The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a team of Chadian officials to oversee the highly anticipated AFCON 2025 qualifier between Uganda and South Africa, set to take place this Friday, November 15 at Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
The match will be pivotal for Uganda, who need just one point from the final two games to secure a place in the tournament.
The officiating team will be led by referee Alhadji Allaou Mahamat from Chad, who will be responsible for maintaining control over what promises to be a high-stakes encounter.
Mahamat will be supported by fellow countrymen Bogola Issa and Moussa Hafiz, who will serve as assistant referees, ensuring vigilance along the sidelines.
Completing the Chadian lineup, Abdelkerim Ousmanevle will act as the fourth official, standing ready to assist in managing substitutions and other administrative tasks at pitchside.
The experienced team is expected to bring consistency and professionalism to the game, as both Uganda and South Africa look to secure their respective AFCON ambitions.
The officiating lineup will be further supported by Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia, who will serve as the referee assessor, tasked with evaluating the officials’ performance throughout the match.
Kenyan official TOO Solomon Kaptingei has been designated as the match commissioner, responsible for overall game management and ensuring all regulations are upheld.
This critical match is expected to draw a large crowd at Mandela National Stadium, as Uganda aims to secure the one point needed for qualification.
