Two passionate football fans, Jonan Kato and Didas Akampa, have won an all-expenses-paid trip to the UK to watch a live Premier League match, courtesy of Guinness.
The lucky duo emerged victorious from the Guinness Matchday Minutes Draw, a thrilling competition held during the brand’s live football viewing events.
Kato, still buzzing with excitement, shared his disbelief at winning the ultimate prize.
“I was sitting with my friends, and I boldly predicted Arsenal would concede a goal around the 71st minute. They conceded in the 70th! I couldn’t believe my luck when I made it into the draw and won the big prize,” he said.
Rogers Kasozi, Guinness Brand Manager, expressed the brand’s commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for football fans.
“It’s every football fan’s dream to witness a Premier League match live, and we’re thrilled to make that dream a reality for our winners,” he said.
“We’re proud to give back to the fans who’ve embraced Guinness Matchdays, and we can’t wait to see more fans win big,” he added.
Guinness Matchdays are renowned for their electric atmosphere, featuring massive screens, expert punditry, and, of course, ice-cold Guinness.
Each Matchday offers fans the chance to participate in the Matchday Minutes Draw and win a trip to the UK, elevating the live viewing experience to new heights.
The excitement isn’t stopping there. Guinness is expanding its Matchday Experience to Mbarara and Gulu, giving even more fans the opportunity to win a Premier League trip and create lasting memories.
