A-Plus Funeral Management, on behalf of the family of Kayondo Ronnie, has announced the funeral and burial arrangements for the former Eagles’ player, who tragically passed away at Kampala Hospital on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
The family will hold a Funeral Service at their home in Nabbingo on Monday, February 10, 2025, beginning at 4:00 pm.
Following the service, a vigil will take place to honor the memory of the late Kayondo Ronnie Junior.
The burial will occur the following day, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm at their ancestral home in Kaduggala-Mirembe.
Kayondo Ronnie was a flyhalf for Kampani Eagles RFC. He tragically passed away following a head injury sustained during a match against Toyota Buffaloes Rugby Club on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Kyadondo Rugby Club in Kampala.
Despite receiving immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Kampala Hospital where he was taken for further medical attention.
His untimely passing has left a profound impact on the rugby community, with tributes pouring in from teammates, coaches, and fans who remember him for his dedication and passion for the game.
