Pep Guardiola has declared Manchester City’s title hopes will be finished if they lose to Arsenal at the Etihad on Sunday.
Arsenal lead by six points, but City have a game in hand and home advantage. Victory over the Gunners and Burnley midweek would put them top for the first time in months.
Guardiola warned against emotional distraction: “If we lose, yeah, it’s over… Six games is a lot, given our calendar.”
Erling Haaland called the showdown “like a final”, while Arsenal, chasing a first league crown in 22 years, are battling fatigue after a gruelling Champions League run.
City welcome back Nico O’Reilly but remain without captain Ruben Dias.
