The draws for the 2025 USSSA Ball Games I were conducted this afternoon at the USSSA Offices in Kampala, setting the stage for one of the country’s largest school sports events.
The ceremony was attended by FUFA CEO Edgar Watson Suubi, along with Ugandan footballers Mustapha Kiiza and Sandrah Nabweteme, who are both currently plying their trade outside the country.
This year’s edition of the girls’ football tournament has attracted 64 secondary school teams.
The teams have been divided into 16 groups of four, ahead of the competition scheduled to take place from 4th to 15th April. Bukedea Comprehensive School will host the games across multiple venues.
Defending champions Kawempe Muslim Secondary School were drawn into Group A. They will face Katikamu Secondary School, Taggy High School, and Jinja Comprehensive School in the group stage.
