Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that star striker Robert Lewandowski will begin Tuesday’s crucial Champions League semifinal second leg against Inter Milan on the bench.
Recovering from a hamstring injury, Lewandowski will be available as a substitute for the evenly poised 3-3 tie.
Despite his 40 goals this season, Flick is taking a cautious approach.
Midfielder Dani Olmo remains confident in Barcelona’s quadruple pursuit, even if Inter focuses heavily on teenage winger Lamine Yamal.
The winner will face either Arsenal or Paris Saint-Germain in the final.
