The 2024/2025 Uganda National Volleyball League is set for a gripping finale as Nemostars and Sport-S collide in the men’s championship series, following dominant performances in the playoff semifinals.
Nemostars booked their spot in the final after a hard-fought battle with KCCA, winning the best-of-three series in two straight games—each decided in five sets.
In the second match, Nemostars displayed grit and composure, rallying from a 2-1 set deficit to clinch the last two sets and seal their place in the title clash.
Sport-S, meanwhile, advanced with relative ease, sweeping UCU Doves in straight sets across both semifinal matches.
The playoff rounds have delivered high-level competition, with additional clashes across various divisions.
Game 1 will be played on 18th May with Game two on 25th May and if need be, Game 3 on June 1st.
In the women’s category, Sport-S will face KCB Nkumba in a highly anticipated final. Sport-S overcame UCU Lady Doves, while KCB Nkumba dispatched KCCA in their respective semifinal ties to set up the showdown.
