Paris Saint-Germain has counter-sued Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe for €98 million (£82.5m/$109m), alleging “delaying tactics” in their ongoing legal fight.
This follows Mbappe’s move to seize €55m in unpaid wages from his former club.
PSG argues Mbappe’s initial claim lacks merit, while Mbappe’s camp insists only €14m of the owed amount has been recovered.
A court ruling on the dispute is expected on May 26.
PSG’s lawyer stated the €98m demand aims to challenge Mbappe’s claim, accusing him of trying to “run away and steal it all.”
Mbappe’s lawyer questioned the transparency of PSG’s finances.
