Former South Africa international Cornal Hendricks has died at 37 after a heart attack, BBC Sport reports.
The winger, who scored five tries in 12 Springbok appearances after debuting in 2014 against Wales, also played sevens for his country, winning Commonwealth gold in 2014.
Forced to retire in 2015 due to a heart condition, he made a comeback with the Bulls in 2019.
Bulls director Jake White praised Hendricks’ inspiring return, while South African rugby president Mark Alexander remembered his positive impact on and off the field.
Hendricks played 233 first-class matches in his career. His death is a significant loss to rugby.
