Los Angeles and Club América will clash on Saturday, May 31st, at BMO Stadium in a play-in match to determine the final participant in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
Following recent CAS decisions, FIFA organized this high-stakes encounter between LAFC (2023 Concacaf Champions League runners-up) and Club América (top-ranked Concacaf team).
The winner will join Group D of the Club World Cup alongside Flamengo, Espérance, and Chelsea, with group stage matches in Atlanta (June 16), Nashville (June 20), and Orlando (June 24).
The expanded 32-team FIFA Club World Cup begins June 14th in Miami, culminating in the final on July 13th at MetLife Stadium.
Extra time and penalties will decide the victor if the match is tied after 90 minutes.
