NextPro Sports New Signing Karim Watamabala Sends Vipers to Uganda Cup Final

NextPro Sports Management Agency’s newest signee, Karim Watamabala, made an immediate statement just hours after his signing was announced, scoring the decisive goal that secured Vipers SC’s qualification to the Uganda Cup final.

Watamabala struck the only goal of the match as Vipers edged Kitara FC 1-0 in the semifinal second leg played today, sealing a 2-0 aggregate victory.

The result books Vipers a place in yet another domestic final, underlining the club’s dominance and the midfielder’s clutch influence on big occasions.

Watamabala’s calm finish was a testament to the experience he has gathered over the years at Vipers.

Since joining the club in the 2019/20 season, the industrious midfielder has become a pivotal figure in the squad, and today’s match-winning goal only solidified his importance.

With four Uganda Premier League titles and two Uganda Cups already to his name, this latest performance adds another highlight to a decorated domestic career.

The goal comes just hours after NextPro Sports officially announced the signing of the 25-year-old Ugandan international.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect for both player and agency.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better debut moment under our banner,” said a spokesperson for NextPro Sports.

“Karim delivered when it mattered most, and that’s exactly why we’re excited about what the future holds for him.”

NextPro Sports Management Agency is a FIFA-licensed player management company based in Uganda.

The agency is dedicated to guiding talented athletes through their careers, maximising their potential both on and off the pitch.

As Watamabala and Vipers SC prepare for the Uganda Cup final, all eyes will be on the midfielder who continues to prove that he’s not just a leader in midfield, but a difference-maker in the biggest moments.
