Cameroon senior national team head coach Marc Brys has left out several of the country’s top stars from the squad set to face Uganda and Equatorial Guinea in international friendlies this June.
The Indomitable Lions will take on the Uganda Cranes and Equatorial Guinea on June 6 and June 30, respectively, with both matches scheduled to be played in Marrakech, Morocco.
Notably absent from the squad are Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana, Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, as well as midfielders André-Frank Zambo Anguissa of Napoli and Carlos Baleba of Brighton.
Although Brys did not publicly address the omissions, it is understood the quartet has been granted early holidays following demanding seasons with their respective clubs.

Onana, in particular, is currently with the Manchester United squad in Malaysia for two post-season friendly matches.
However, team captain Vincent Aboubakar has been included in the squad and is expected to lead the line against Uganda’s defenders, including Elio Capradossi, Arnold Odong, Hillary Mukundane, and Jordan Obita.
