On the other hand, conspicuously missing is national 7s captain Peace Lekuru who was ruled out by an ankle injury. The other changes from the Division One tournament, all due to injury, are Fazira Namukwaya, Beth Asaba, Leona Acen, and Grace Auma.

The 2025 women’s Rugby Africa Cup will be played at the Stade Makis Andohatapenaka from June 7-15.

Uganda will face South Africa, Madagascar and Kenya in the tournament. They enter the Rugby Africa Cup as the lowest-ranked team but will have room for error since there is no threat of relegation back to the lower division.
