Crested Cranes Announce Squad for 2025 CECAFA Women’s Championship

Uganda Women’s National Team Head Coach Sheryl Botes has named a 20-player squad for the 2025 CECAFA Women’s Championship set to take place from 12th to 21st June in Chamazi, Tanzania.

The selection is largely composed of players from Uganda’s domestic competitions, with forward Margaret Kunihira—who plies her trade with Caessia Queens LFC in Tanzania—the only foreign-based inclusion.
