The India Rugby Premier League (RPL) is a professional franchise rugby 7s league organised by Rugby India. It mirrors cricket’s India Premier League (IPL) style with a target of boosting rugby’s popularity in India.
Its inaugural edition will run from June 15-29 and will feature six franchises— Bengaluru Brave Hearts, Chennai Bulls, Delhi Redz, Hyderabad Heroes, Kalinga Black Tigers and Mumbai Dreamers.
At the end of this tournament, Wokorach is expected to fly back home for the 2025 men’s Rugby Africa Cup.
