Rugby fans attending this year’s Rugby Africa Cup in Kampala will have more than just great action to cheer about — they’ll also have a shot at winning fuel and official merch, thanks to a new “Predict & Win” campaign from Shell.
Launched by Vivo Energy Uganda, the campaign invites fans to guess the final score at each of the tournament’s 13 matches.
Winners walk away with 50 litres of Shell FuelSave Diesel and an official replica rugby jersey, courtesy of the Uganda Rugby Union.
The tournament kicks off on July 8 and runs through July 19, featuring top teams from across the continent.
Uganda hosts Zimbabwe, Algeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Namibia, Senegal, and Burkina Faso as they battle not only for the Rugby Africa Cup but also for qualification to the 2027 Rugby World Cup.
The Predict & Win contest is part of a larger fan engagement effort led by Shell to make the match-day experience more interactive and rewarding.
In addition to the score prediction challenge, Shell sales kiosks will be set up onsite throughout the four weekends of the tournament.
