Vipers Sports Club have boosted their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season with the signing of Nigerian winger Odili Chukwuma.
The 23-year-old joins the Ugandan champions from Rwanda Police FC and has agreed to a two-year deal that will see him stay at Kitende until at least the end of the 2026/27 season.
Chukwuma becomes the fourth new addition for the Venoms in the ongoing transfer window, joining Liberian forward Mark Yallah, Congolese attacker Kevin Dasylva Bady, and midfield playmaker Enock Ssebaggala.
His arrival signals Vipers’ intent to maintain dominance in the Uganda Premier League while also preparing for a stronger run in the CAF Champions League.
Renowned for his speed, creativity, and delivery from wide areas, Chukwuma brings plenty of firepower to the wings. Last season, he played a key role for Rwanda Police FC, helping the team finish fourth in the Rwanda Premier League.
He scored five goals and provided eight assists, making him one of the standout attacking players in the league.
Prior to his time at Police FC, he had spells with Bugesera FC in Rwanda, and also developed his craft at several Nigerian clubs, including Delta Force FC, Apex Krane FC, and Jigsawa Golden Stars.
At Vipers, Chukwuma is expected to compete for a starting role alongside established names such as skipper Milton Karisa and Yunus Sentamu.
