FINAL RANKINGS: 2025 Kabaka Coronation 7s

The 2025 Nile Special Uganda 7s Series kicked off this past weekend with the Kabaka Coronation 7s at Kyadondo Rugby Club.

Walukuba Barbarians and Thunderbirds emerged as the men’s and women’s winners, collecting maximum series points on the overall standings.

This is how the eight women’s and sixteen women’s teams ranked after the two-day tournament:

Following conclusion of the Kabaka Coronation 7s and considering only the core sides, this is what the overall series standings look like:

Thunderbirds lead the women’s series, ahead of Walukuba Titans and Avengers on the podium.

Women Series Points

2 Walukuba Titans 19
3 Avengers 17
4 She Wolves 15
5 Black Pearls 10
6 Nile Rapids (no show) –

Points for Nile Rapids— who were a “no show” at Kyadondo— are unconfirmed pending clarification from the Disputes Committee as stipulated in the Tournament Manual.

The men’s series is led by Walukuba Barbarians with Heathens and Buffaloes completing the podium.

Teams will be ranked on the overall standings by total series points collected from all the seven stops, and the winner will be determined by the team with the highest series points tally.
