Arsenal midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has committed his future to the club by signing a new five-year contract that will keep him at the Premier League side until the summer of 2030.
The 18-year-old’s previous deal was set to expire in June 2026.
In a statement, Nwaneri expressed his delight, saying, “It means everything to me, I’m so happy to have got it done. This is where I feel at home, and where I’m going to develop the best.”
He added that he sees this as his “first real season” as part of the main squad and is excited to contribute to the team.
Nwaneri made history in September 2022 when he became the youngest player to ever appear in the Premier League at just 15 years and 181 days old.
The attacking midfielder had a breakout 2024-25 season, making 37 appearances and scoring nine goals in all competitions.
His season was capped off by helping the England Under-21s defend their European Championship title in June.
