AC Milan’s sporting director, Igli Tare, has confirmed the Italian club’s interest in Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund.
The 22-year-old was left out of United’s squad for their recent defeat to Arsenal, a decision reportedly made by coach Ruben Amorim due to intense speculation over the player’s future.
Hojlund’s opportunities at Manchester United are expected to be limited following the £73.7m arrival of Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig.
Hojlund, who joined for £72m two years ago, was United’s main striker last season, scoring 10 goals in 52 games.
Tare also noted that AC Milan is looking at Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as another option for their forward line.
