Kitara have appointed their former president, Deo Kasozi, as Chief Community Resource Mobiliser on a two-year term, effective Monday.
Kasozi, who stepped down as club president in June, will now focus on resource mobilization, strengthening partnerships, and driving community engagement initiatives aimed at cementing the club’s long-term growth and sustainability.
In his new role, he will be tasked with rallying support from both local and international partners, ensuring Kitara thrives on and off the pitch.
Kasozi will report to the club board as he leads the club’s strategy to build a strong foundation beyond football, with community programs set to play a central role in their future.
